Additive Manufacturing (AM) Research Opportunities Webinar

This webinar will feature subject matter experts from the DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory (ARL) who will present upcoming research initiatives and collaboration opportunities in AM. Dr. Nicholas Ku and Dr. Jian Yu, Convergent Manufacturing Team Leader, will provide an overview of the evolution of AM—from its origins in rapid prototyping to its anticipated applications in defense. The session will explore ARL’s efforts to develop tailored metallic alloys and energetic materials aimed at enhancing munition performance. Attendees will receive guidance on how to engage with ARL through mechanisms such as the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), with an emphasis on fostering academic partnerships to advance AM technologies in support of future Army needs.
